Introduction

If the tables were turned, how would the world look? By that I mean if the top drug dealer on an estate in Tottenham was born to an affluent family in Hampstead. Would he have used his ambition, determination, and wits to become the CEO of a Fortune 500 company? Instead of being criminalized and thrown into a cell
for the same creativity that the businessmen in Silicon Valley and bankers in Canary Wharf get rewarded for?

I don’t want to get too political. However, the narrative that people from disadvantaged communities are unambitious, and just “not as smart” as their counterparts is bullshit! It has never acknowledged the amount of ingenuity and determination it has taken them to get through their day to day, without the same means or access as others.

I can’t be the only person who watched “The Wolf Of Wall Street” and thought.

“Rahh, this guy reminds me of...[insert friend or family members name]”

The only difference is the person he reminded you of was unlikely to have amassed a net worth of over 100 million! If that isn’t the case, this book probably isn’t for you. I have sat in business meetings with some of the richest and smartest people in the world. I’ve come to realise that the only difference between the “haves” and “the have nots” is opportunity and INFORMATION!
